Cloth Diapers

Monday, December 7th, 2009

If you haven’t given cloth diapers a second thought, you may want to before your baby is born. Gone are the days of pins and messy leaks. The new cloth diapers are easy and fashionable. When you think about going through at least 8-12 diapers a day – reusable diapers only make sense.

So in the day of reduce, reuse and recycle, cloth diapers are back as the eco-friendly way to diaper your baby. I’m not here to argue that cloth diapers are great for the environment, though they are much better than their disposable counterparts. I think it’s important to look at cloth diapers form the viewpoint of saving money.

That’s right, using cloth diapers is a great way to save you money. When you consider that you can purchase every diaper you would ever need (and then some) for $200-300, you’ve only spent 10 weeks worth of disposable diaper money. The real issue for most people is the initial outlay of money for cloth diapers.

So if you haven’t taken a look at cloth diapers recently, or you think that they still involve really scary looking diaper pins – think again and have a look at today’s new eco-friendly, cost saving diapers that make babies and parents happy. (Did I mention how cute some of the new cloth diapers are? I’m seriously loving these cute prints on the All-in-One cloth diapers I bought in bulk at a discount store!)

Have you considered cloth diapering?
